Delivery

You’ll be pleased to hear that we offer FREE delivery on all orders over £20 (our usual delivery charges are just £2.99 for orders up to £20). There’s no extra charge for deliveries to the Highlands and Islands of the UK. For the time being, we’re unable to deliver to destinations outside of the UK – which we’re genuinely gutted about, having spoken with so many delightful people from all across the world! This is something we’re keeping in mind for the future, however, so make sure to keep an eye out – we’ll update you as soon as we can!

Generally, orders will be dispatched within 1-2 working days (but if there’s a delay for any reason, we will always make sure to let you know). If you order online at the weekend, we’ll get it posted by Monday or Tuesday at the very latest.

Please allow for up to 10 working days for your delivery, from the date of your order.

 

Click and Collect

If you’re in the local area, we offer FREE Click and Collect on all online purchases. To collect your order, visit us in-store at Jayne's Wool and Button Shop, 1 Edison House, Fullerton Road, Glenrothes KY7 5QR. Just call us on 07722 388124 to arrange your personal collection time, and we’ll make sure your order is ready upon your arrival!

If you can’t make the collection date, don’t worry – just call us again to reschedule. If items are not collected within 7 working days of the inital collection date, and no reschedule has been made, we’ll refund your purchase for you.

Returns Policy

General Returns

We realise that some items you’ve bought online may not always match your needs when it comes to making a project (the colour may be slightly different to what you expected, or the yarn is just too thin for a warm winter blanket!); therefore, we’re very happy to accept any returned items for an exchange or refund within 28 days of the initial order date. Due to the nature of our products, we’re unable to accept any items which have already been used.

 

Faulty / Damaged Goods Returns

We will fully refund any faulty, defective, or wrongly delivered goods, including all original and return postage costs, as long as the fault is not due to misuse of the product (i.e. use against the manufacturer’s recommendations including overstretching of yarn, reasonable wear and tear, etc.)

In covering the return postage, we’ll pay the standard 2nd class postage costs as charged by the Post Office at the time of posting (please note: this may vary). Make sure to print out a copy of the original receipt/invoice and include this in your return, as no refunds will be issued without it.

 

Packing Your Item for Return

Please return products with appropriate packaging (the original, undamaged packaging is best). It's important that you obtain a proof of posting receipt just in case your parcel goes astray. This service is currently free of charge from the Post Office.
